The Death of Justice in America

 

I’ll make this brief. If you are under the delusion that the Department of Justice is still performing its duty to this country, please read this letter by 292 alumni of the DOJ who have either retired early, resigned, or been fired by the Trump administration this year. Much of what Trump is destroying in this country will be very difficult, if not impossible, to repair. And it is made infinitely harder by the willful blindness of the entire Republican Party, especially those who were elected to Congress or appointed to the Supreme Court. Thanks to the uninformed and easily deceived voters in this country, we are now living in a rapidly developing authoritarian nation that has turned its back on truth, morality, justice, science, compassion, and reality.
